Don’t ever look back. I haven’t. I’m still doing exactly what I want to do. Enjoying band, student council, and doing moderately well in class! I have an 85 in AP Gov! Awesome right? So today and the past few days the student leadership institute that was started this year, visited freshman classes with the intent to educate the freshman at SHS about the cool things the school has to offer, and we also gave them tips that will hopefully serve them well during their four years at high school. Cool right? I think so. Oh I forgot to mention, I joined the mens cheerleading squad for the annual powderpuff game! I’m a flyer, but don’t tell my parents, they’d be furious. (They’re the type that still forbid me to go on a trampoline). So yeah, alongside school, I’m actually having a social life! Yay me! Watching Glee has to be my favorite times of the week, a good 40 minutes of musical television. bliss. So concert band began, I’m last chair.. again.. but thats okay. Auditioning for Sr. Districs, so hoping that that will go well! So this past Saturday, I performed at McGuirk Alumni Stadium with over 2,800 other band members across New England. It was sooo cool! I’ll have to post a video soon. UMass Amherst hosts an annual band day, this year the music was Patriotic themed as it was the late Directors favorite type of music so I hear. It was amazing, I saw friends from DMA, and met kids that I’d never even seen before. Gotta love UMass. I made Tri M Honor Society and National honor society!  Marching band is almost done with. One more game which is the annual Salem Vs. Beverly Football Game. Hoping Salem comes out with a victory! That would be awesome! Oh man, gotta think of some other things to write about. Well, I suppose I could write about how we had a Showcase at our school which the student council was represented iwth a nice poster board and had many people interested! Awesome right! haha. Well, Audrey will kill me if I ignore her any longer, thats all for now!
